My little pilot.

Captain David R. Crossler
After dropping my mom off at the airport in Roanoke, the boys and I decided that we were going to go to Toys R'Us before we went home (it was that and buy toys and later go to the park to play in the sand, or go to the zoo--toys and park won out). While we were in the Imaginarium section, we saw all of the dress-up costumes. The pilot one is what David immediately wanted. I figured, hey, he's got quite the imagination, why not?!?! We paid for the costume, drove home, I took it out of the package and one little 4-year-old is now in heaven.
"This is Captain David Robert Crossler speaking, welcome aboard!"
"We're taking off from Sydney, Australia and are going to Alaska--because I work for Alaska."
"Aidan is my flight attendant...no, Nana is my flight attendant. Mommy, will you be my flight attendant?"
"Stay in your seats and buckle your seat belts--we're in turbulence."
These are just a few things that David has said since adorning his uniform. The above photo is one from our little ID badge photo session. He wants a plastic badge--kind of like Nana's...
Oops...it's time for take-off. I'd better report for duty.
